Local Anaesthetic

The WandThe Wand

The Wand helps give Siana Dental patients the highest quality dental care while addressing their concerns about the pain, fear and anxiety associated with standard injections.

The Wand looks like a pen and is held by the dentist the way that a pen would be held. The wand delivers a very slow controlled dose of anaesthetic to the treatment area making the administration process virtually painless.

Thanks to the slow release and automated process of administration, The Wand removes human error from the equation. The Wand is especially useful when treating children and patients who suffer from dental anxiety.

With this system, we can give almost painless injections

The Wand has a computer controlled flow rate, delivering the correct amount of anaesthetic at a rate that provides a steady level of comfort. Its disposable cartridge means a safe, sterile procedure for each patient.

DIAGNOdent

DIAGNOdent aids the dentist in the detection of dental caries. Using the DIAGNOdent, Dr Max can detect and track small lesions and incipient caries. This allows him to provide accurate advice in regards to your oral hygiene habits to help your teeth remain healthy and strong, and assists him with treatment diagnosis and planning.

Intra Oral Camera

The intra oral camera provides fast digital images for patients so they can better understand the condition of their teeth. The detailed images assist Dr Max with the planning process of your treatment and provide a method of tracking your treatment through the different stages.

Digital RadiographsDigital Radiographs

Dr Max uses digital radiograph technology to produce accurate X-rays for treatment diagnosis and planning.

Thanks to powerful enhancement and analysis tools, the technology allows for precise diagnosis with minimal discomfort for the patient.

Simplant® Computer Guided Implant TechnologySimplant® Computer Guided Implant Technology

SIMPLANT is a comprehensive 3D system for accurate and predictable implant treatment. This technology can be used for the process of dental scanning, planning and placement of dental implants.

The OraqixThe Oraqix

The Oraqix is a needle-free anaesthetic administered to the pockets of the gums. The particular solution is useful for deep cleans that can be carried out by our dental hygienist. The anaesthetic is fast acting (numbing the area in as little as 30 seconds) and lasts for approximately 20 minutes.

At Siana Dental we use chairside photography so that you can visibly compare the results from before and after your treatment.

Bose HeadphonesBose Headphones

To help patients feel comfortable, Dr Max provides headphones so you can block out noise while listening to music in the dental chair. They are a comfortable fit and offer quality acoustics.

AcceleDent®AcceleDent® to assist with Invisalign

AcceleDent® is an easy to use device generally recommended for applicable Invisalign patients. This technology is a hands-free device that is used for around 20 minutes of the day to gently vibrate and aid the movement of the teeth. This technology is FDA approved and has been known to speed up the treatment process for patients.

Microscopes for Dentists’ VisionMicroscopes

Dr Max believes all dentists (general and specialists) should use magnification when working in the mouth. The quality and accuracy of work is raised and even speed of treatment is increased (quicker appointments). Practitioner posture is improved. This is a win for the patient and dentist alike.

Microscopes require a great deal of spatial awareness, skill and hand-eye coordination from the operator. Dr Max believes all excellent dentists should have these attributes and should use magnification all the time.
